  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder
  • Frosting:
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
