Devil's Food Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 6 tablespoons (¾ stick) unsalted butter , cut into 6 pieces
  • 6 tablespoons sour cream or buttermilk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • ¾ cup boiling water
