Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened green tea powder (matcha)
  • 2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • Superfine sugar, for sprinkling (optional)
  • 4 ounces white chocolate, chopping into very small pieces
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons heavy cream
