- 1/2 tsp browning sauce , optional
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- dumplings:
- 1-1/3 cups king arthur unbleached all-purpose flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp minced fresh parsley , optional
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp canola oil
- 1/2 cup water
