Japanese Style Clam Chowder recipes

Ingredients

  • 4 bacon slices
  • 1 medium size onion, finely chopped
  • 2 potatoes, cut into bite size cubes
  • 1½ cup white wine
  • 1 can 10oz (283gr) whole baby clams, with juice
  • ¾ cup whipped cream (or heavy cream)
  • 1 cup dashi (for dashi powder granules, about 1 tsp for a cup of water)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp salted butter
  • 3 scallions, finely chopped
