Ingredients
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 sticks of celery, chopped
- 1 sweet green bell pepper, seeded and chopped (optional)
- 1/2 package of smoked kielbasa, chopped
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 5 cups beef stock
- 5 cups water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the dumplings:
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsely
- 1 egg, beaten
