Spicy Lime Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 medium eggplants (1 ½ pounds total), stems trimmed, cut crosswise into 1-inch rounds (about 12 slices)

  • 1 jalapeño, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup packed fresh cilantro leaves or small sprigs
