Tres Leches Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 6 large eggs, separated
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 (12-ounce) cans evaporated milk
  • 2 (14-ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin (see Notes above)
  • 2 tablespoons water (see Notes above)
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened (see Notes above)
  • 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
