Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream the butter until smooth, then add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Gradually add the dry ingredients and milk, mixing until just combined.
