Espresso Almond Pull-Me Cake

- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 2 large Eggs
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup espresso coffee, brewed and cooled
- 1/2 cup toasted almonds, chopped
