Maple Bourbon Pecan Anniversary Cake

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups Granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 4 large Eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1 cup, chopped pecans
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions

Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then mix in the maple syrup.

Alternately add the dry ingredients and buttermilk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
