Miso Caramel Castella Cake

Ingredients
- 200g All-purpose flour
- 150g Granulated sugar
- 4 large Eggs
- 50g miso paste
- 100ml Milk
- 50g unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100ml water
- 100g brown sugar
- 100ml heavy cream

Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F). In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and granulated sugar until pale and fluffy.

Melt the unsalted butter and mix it with the miso paste and milk. Gradually add this mixture to the egg and sugar mixture, stirring gently.

Sift the all-purpose flour into the batter and fold gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Pour the batter into a lined cake pan and bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
