Saffron Pistachio Fondant Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup, finely ground pistachio nuts
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup, softened unsalted butter
- 3 large Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron threads
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 pound fondant
- for decoration pistachio nuts
Instructions

Step 1:
Soak the saffron threads in 2 tablespoons of warm milk for about 10 minutes.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

In another bowl, whisk together the ground pistachios, flour, and baking powder.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with the saffron-infused milk. Mix until just combined.
