Spiced Pear and Walnut Holiday Cake

Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups ripe pears, peeled and diced
- 1 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons Milk

Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
