Velvet Rose Anniversary Cake

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
- 2 cups Granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 large Eggs
- 2 tablespoons red food coloring
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream

Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

In another bowl, mix the vegetable oil, buttermilk, eggs, red food coloring, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Divide the batter evenly between two greased 9-inch round cake pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
